Knowing your level in padel can be done in several ways, depending on whether you want a self-assessment, an official ranking, or a coach's opinion. Here are the main ways:
1. The unofficial level system (self-assessment)
There is a scale of levels from 1 to 10 used in many clubs to situate players:
Level | Quick description |
---|---|
1-2 | Total beginner, discovering the rules, little control. |
3-4 | Amateur hobbyist, understands the basics, but irregular. |
5 | Good leisure player, starting to build points. |
6 | Stable play, good technique, correct movements. |
7 | Very good recreational or regional competition player. |
8 | Experienced tournament player (P100/P250), solid tactics. |
9 | High amateur level (P500+), very good reading of the game. |
10 | Pro or semi-pro level (FFT P1000+, FIP Tour, WPT). |
You can self-assess using this scale (or we can do it together if you describe your game).

-
To obtain a ranking, you need to take part in approved tournaments (P100, P250, P500, etc.).
-
Your ranking depends on your performance and points earned in tournaments.
-
It is updated monthly.
